Sugar Texture Spray: Help Curls Stay Throughout the Day

To form curls, tension and moisture are required. Water locked in by oil helps the curl retain its shape. But even the best prepped hair needs follow-up.

Sugar texture spray:

distilled water
organic cane sugar
essential oil (optional)

Heat water just enough for the cane sugar to dissolve. Add 1-2 teaspoons of sugar to roughly a half cup of water. Add essential oil at the end for scent if desired. Allow to cool and put in a spray bottle.

Optional addition: aloe vera gel (I will test later).

Shake well, spray a fair distance from your hair (about 8-12 inches). Flip your hair, ensure even coverage and then scrunch the sugar texture spray in.

Warnings:
Tread lightly, since the sugar texture spray can cause buildup.
Do not use if the scent turns.
Store in the refrigerator (especially if you don't use distilled water).
Use within a week or two.
Seek balance in cultivation; allow your hair to tell you what it needs.
